No guarantee of results
The Fix My Speaker tool plays sound through your device’s speaker to help push water and dust out of the speaker opening. It may help in some situations, but we make no guarantee that it will remove water or dust, improve sound quality or fix any problem.
It can’t fix hardware damage
Sound can’t dry the inside of a device, remove corrosion, repair a damaged speaker, or fix electrical or liquid damage. If your device was submerged, was exposed to salt water or other liquids, has been dropped, or still has problems after drying, contact the manufacturer or a qualified repair technician.
Use at your own risk
By using the tool, you accept that you do so at your own risk. In particular:
- Don’t play tones through earbuds or headphones in your ears. Loud tones close to your ears can cause discomfort or hearing damage.
- Stop if the sound becomes harsh, rattly or distorted.
- Don’t run the tool continuously for long periods.
- Keep the volume reasonable around children, pets and other people.
Hidayath Studios isn’t responsible for any damage to devices, speakers, hearing or data resulting from use of the Site or the tool.
